Waterproof flooring eliminates all worries about moisture

Up until recently, the only choices for waterproof flooring were tile and luxury vinyl. Both are excellent flooring materials, but now there are two new additions: waterproof flooring and waterproof laminate. It doesn't matter where you live because we all have those moments when the dishwasher floods, one of the kids drops a gallon of milk, or someone spills a glass of red wine or cup of coffee.

What is waterproof vinyl flooring?

This is a newer version of luxury vinyl (LVF), engineered to be thicker and more durable with technologically advanced cores, such as the WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite). They give the highest level of moisture protection and won't peel or ripple no matter how much water the floor is exposed to or for how long. While the waterproof capability makes them ideal for wet areas like the kitchen, bath, or laundry room, the high-end style makes the floors an excellent choice for the living and dining area, bedroom, or any space where spills could occur.

The style is the same as for luxury vinyl. Images are taken with 3D photography, and the floors have micro beveling and deep embossing to add depth, dimension, and textured appearances such as wire-brushed, hand scraped, weathered, and distressed. The material, which can be cut into planks to mimic hardwood boards or groutable squares to echo stone and tile, comes in matte, gloss, and high gloss colors.
